Manufacturing laboratory performs research mainly related to manufacturing technology and production management in construction of ship and offshore structures. Research interests are specifically focused on designing production processes and production planning systems. Structural design-production interactions, welding design-production interactions and computer applications for optimizing manufacturing design are also included in the scope of this laboratory.
